Visitors - gone

The fever is almost gone but I still feel quite grotty, tired and achy. A couple of friends rang my doorbell this afternoon, they brought some Christmas candy and was geared up for a cup of something. I told them I had a cold but invited them anyway if they dared to, but they didn't. Such a lousy timing, its been a year since I had a cold the last time and they picked today to  visit. Oh well, there will be other chances i hope. 
After they'd left I had a short walk in the drizzle just to get out of the house. The blip isn't very uplifting but true to what it looked like, definitely no picture for the tourist bureau to use for marketing winter holidays.
