GOLDFINCH

Thanks everyone for your kind and generous comments on yesterdays Kingfisher. It seems lots of blippers feel like me about these beaut wee birds!! I havnt made the spotlight for a a while and feel very honoured to have achieved it yesterday.

I got a couple of kingfishers today but they werent as active as yesterday - I think they must have been celebrating mothers day.

This little bloke might look a but messy to start - but its quite a good one to show its environment and the highlight in its eye is not always achievable - They also flit so getting them sharp with a highlight in the eye is satisfying for me.
