The husband woke me up at around 3am this morning to ask if I was cold - the conclusion was that he had quite a fever, it really wasn't cold at all and he was burning hot. He was just about awake when I left this morning and I think spent most of the day asleep (the boys were in sports club, so his sole task for the day was to take and collect them) .

Good spirits in the house when I got home, husband feeling somewhat better.  Took the dog out for a walk while the husband did bed time, which meant a happy dog too. He's normally walked at lunch time, so is generally a little put out if that doesn't happen. 

Very end-of-term feeling in the office, and generally all pretty happy.  Kind words from one of my team in her end of year review (a bit of 'upwards feedback', as she put it). So that was very nice, and thoughtful of her. 

Countdown to Christmas in full swing - or rather, job ticking off in full-swing!
