Jacob and the beautiful bride

Hayley and Jonathan's wedding was in a gorgeous tiny church surrounded by beautiful countryside. The service was perfect; I cried from the minute Hayley walked down the aisle. She looked so beautiful. There was amazing singing from the local male voice choir which set tears off again, and the sun shone as the happy couple left the church (even through a heavy spring shower).

Jacob fell asleep on the way to the reception but was soon up exploring, trying to drink my Pimms and wanting to follow Hayley everywhere. The bride definitely got more kisses from Jacob than anyone else! He did really well to sit through the speeches, helped by Hayley's clever forward thinking of providing bubbles. All the speeches were lovely but the highlight was definitely Jonathan's moving words about how much Hayley means to him. More tears!

We all enjoyed some fantastic live music after dinner. Jacob bobbed up and down and clapped his hands to show his appreciation. We eventually put his pjs on and headed back to Harpsford. It took about 2 minutes for Jacob to fall asleep in the car.
