Refurbishment In Progress

This building was originally three separate (very small) cottages…and were sold a couple of years ago as one lot!!

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that some of the roof had been removed - and today I could see that things have progressed…

The whole roof across the three cottages has gone, as has the entire rear wall(s). There are some new block walls inside (and the two small up stairs windows have been blocked in) - and about halfway along (I think between the two left most doors) there is a new wall that extends beyond the boundary of the old rear wall.

It looks as though they may be extending to the rear and creating two bigger cottages from the three…presumably seeing a significant return on the purchase price…

It certainly looks to have had various alteration before…it looks as though it may have been two cottages originally (the two left doors and window layouts seem to match) the left hand end looks to have been added at some point (near the black stink pipe) and the right had door, windows and sloping roof looks like add-ons too).
