Lunch

Mr F and I went out to lunch in Royan today. I started with a rather large chunk of smoked salmon marinated in vodka and rolled in sesame seeds. I found it actually a bit off putting as I prefer it thinly sliced, but I ate a bit and Mr F finished it off.
Then I had sea bass, which was perfectly cooked. The carrotty looking thing on the plate surprised me when I stuck my fork into it as it was a purée of sweet potato!
Then I had a slice of grilled pineapple with a creamy blob of something and a tuile which shattered as I attempted to eat it. 
So along with amuses bouche at the start and end, coffee wine and water, I feel a little sofa slump coming on.
