Posh afternoon tea.

Emma and Sam bought us as a Christmas present last year, a voucher for an afternoon tea at the Lodore Hotel. It was valid until Dec 22, so we left it late, but got their festive afternoon tea. Also as it was Emma’s birthday, so despite her not being with us, we were able to drink a toast to her. 

Afternoon tea was superb, particularly the mandarin and champagne mousse  - one bite that disappeared in your mouth and left the most amazing flavour. 

A wonderful afternoon, despite the borrowdale road being very wet!
