A dog’s life

A morning visit to Doune where Granny Peebles was looking after Liv and Islay dog while son #1 and L were skiing. The dog walker arrived with a Christmas present for Islay, homemade dog treats. She runs an excellent business.
I drove home via Callander on snowy and icy roads, I should have taken the busier A84. Flooded fields everywhere.
Ran this evening with C around Pollok Park, overdressed I was extremely hot and it was a bit of a struggle, nevertheless 5k in the bag.
Just got back in time for a zoom session with Naturetrek centred on Spain including the wolf area I visited in October. Interesting Q&A with the usual debate about pure versus hybrid wild cats. I think there would be a bit of a fuss if rangers started shooting domestic cats in the Cairngorms.
