Misty helping with the trimmings

She was very interested in what we were doing.  Glad we haven't put a tree up.

Katie came today to visit. She is the youngest grandchild in the older set of 4. For those who don't know I have 6 grandchildren ranging from 35 down to 8. The 2 younger came yesterday. Their elder sister came today. She is the chatterbox, just like her dad never stops talking.

We put up some lights and trimmings this afternoon, it looks a lot more festive now. but I am missing my lovely tree, that cat is too interested in the trimmings for my liking.

It's ben quite a mild day today, and we had a pleasant walk in the woods with the sun shining through the trees.
