Catch up day

Visit to AJ this morning. They have an outbreak of D&V at the moment so are having to stay in their rooms, only essential visits. AJ was in the dining room when I arrived (?) so I went and sat with her. I was then firmly told that I was not allowed in the dining but had to visit in her room, we went to her room where she finished her breakfast. Looking brighter than my last visit, but still has quite a cough on her. Lovely visit and arranged to go back Christmas Eve with her present.

Back home, hairdresser visit for our daughter and myself, boys playing whilst this was going on but needed supervision (why is it one is ok but two (especially siblings) have competition with each other). Perfect job carried out by our hairdresser, two happy ladies. Hugs and kisses goodbye with the boys as they went home.

Popped into town to collect last minute gifts - all done now, just more wrapping.

After tea, popped over to hubby’s brother and his wife to exchange gifts and catch up. Stayed for a coffee. Then on to the supermarket to get items in preparation for Christmas Day - use by dates not quite long enough so will need to go in a couple of days time.
