Just not interested

Finished work early enough to stop at Western Springs on the way home. Being ten minutes later than usual, I expected a slower drive up Titirangi Road. But instead it was a very relaxed trip.

At the lake, I saw a number of interesting birds. My blip was fortuitous. My aim had been the little shag in the foreground. When the duck behind flapped its wings I was ready.

The extras are a female Putangitangi (paradise shelduck) and a Weweia (dabchick)
