Chatting and wrapping

A more sociable day. Had a blipmeet in the Botanics with Hazelh and Annejohn and we enjoyed walking in the sunshine around the route of the lights,stopping to see the ducks struggling with a partially iced over lake (that’s persistent ice, given how warm it’s been the last few days!).stopped for coffee and I had one of the largest pieces of Christmas cake I’ve seen in a cafe…took most home for later!
We chatted about Edinburgh, California, mutual acquaintances and respective workplaces and it was a lovely way to spend the morning. Liked the way our shadows are included in this shot of the waterfall.
Home and spent the afternoon wrapping all the stuff for stockings and working out what I have left to get.and do and catching up on some correspondence.
Walked down to MW’s for drinks and to meet ME a colleague of hers to chat Music Schools. DR arrived a bit later and we enjoyed a couple of hours more chat, drinks and nibbles. Good to see M on good form again and we planned a meal out together, the 3 musketeers, in the New Year
Walked back up with DR then just slumped for a while, writing lists in my head!
