Winter Solstice
Today is the shortest day and now we can look forward to Summer returning.
It is also (theoretically) the day on which we will get least Solar generation. However it mainly depends on the amount of cloud cover.
We have still been getting 2.5 kW at Mid-day when the sun shines but it only lasts for a couple of hours. The battery is getting us through the day after charging on cheap night-time electricity.
Today is quite cloudy but we are still getting 1.5kW. The observant among you may notice that some of the values on this display don't add up. Our solar system has a number of apps and displays but this is a home made one running on a Raspberry Pi and shows all the info I want on one screen. There are one or two settings I need to adjust to get the display right.
