Golden...

I had a walk down in the valley today as the wind high up was bitter & fierce. This heron was sitting on top of a willow which was lit up by golden sunshine this morning.

My little town - Holmfirth - is bad enough traffic wise on a normal day. Today (sadly), there have been accidents on the M62 and the Woodhead pass. This means that everything has been coming via Holmfirth all day...Chaos everywhere, blocked roads and massive trucks being directed to narrow lanes via Satnav & getting stuck.
