It's beginning to look a lot like....... (2)
Until last year we'd never bothered with a wreath. At the old house, we only had a back door (which always confused people trying to find the front one) and it was only partially visible from the side lane so no-one would have seen it. When visiting Waterperry Gardens last December we decided to buy one for the new house and found one costing around £40. A little expensive, I thought, having never priced wreathes before, but it was lovely.
This year we saw quite a few 'cheap and cheerful' wreaths but frankly, nothing I'd have wanted to hang on the front door. Last week we called at the local nursery and found they had some lovely ones for sale, and at only twelve pounds! We bought one, and then W salvaged a few pine cones and other bits from last year's wreath and added them. I'm rather impressed by the result and, of course, the price!
