Vercors

We went to Chabeuil for some shopping and to go to the bank. Then, the weather was so nice that we decided to go to the top of the hill, past the church (extra) and to the statue of the virgin overlooking the plateau and to the cemetery at the top, where my paternal grand-mother and my uncle are buried. I can't remember ever going there but must have as a child.  The Vercors from there looked beautiful. 
In the evening, I met my friend Alain for a meal in town and with his help, I started planning the September walking holidays with my walking friends - this year we have decided to go to the Vercors and he knows it like the back of his hand!
