Arches

It's been quite a sunny day, the shortest day of the year apparently, though that's not strictly true as all days are the same length, 24 hours, so we should say the day of the year with the least daylight I guess, but that's a bit of a mouthful.  Maybe we should stick to the Winter Solstice (or shortest day!).

We went out for a coffee this afternoon. Apparently Sangers doesn't open until 5pm on Wednesday so we popped over to The Hive. 

The sun was shining in quite a pleasing way on the railway arches, certainly worth a photo.  Unfortunately the theme for today's Wide Wednesday hosted by RockArea is Skyline, last week was Arches, *sigh*.  I did take a Skyline pic (see extras) but preferred this one as my blip.
