Some Success

The morning was not a success. I failed to transfer 12 photos to a USB stick to show at camera club. I turned up with an empty folder and felt very foolish. 

Secondly I attempted some fancy cranberry confit but over processed the red onions. Did you know that if you process onions too small and then fry them they taste really bitter even when fried with sugar and butter, not the caramelised onion I was expecting. 4 over processed onions are now in the compost.

 I did manage to make 24 mince pies though.
