Solstice Sun

Mrs BB and I went into Monmouth, South Wales (UK) mid afternoon where we did a bit of shopping and enjoyed a coffee.

I took the longer route home via Welsh Newton as the sun was starting to set and I hoped I'd get a photograph of the sky for this weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme. Just passing the ancient church In Welsh newton on the Llangrove Road, the sun was starting to set and made a nice sky photograph.

Getting home, I just managed to plant a few fruit trees before it got dark, that were delivered about two weeks ago. They've been stood in a bucket of water in the carport due to the freezing weather!  I think we'll be lucky to see any fruit for at least a couple of years!
