Mine

Two weeks of nightmare. Our roofers pulled out all the stops to get our disastrously leaking roof replaced before winter set in but then the snow came, halfway through work. The leaks grew worse as the snow started to melt. They got a bit more done as it warmed up so we thought we'd be safe to go away for the night. We got back and there have been gales and torrential rain and now the water is pouring through our ceiling. The roofers couldn't get up there. My rug is soaked and the flooring is swollen and lifting. I can only hope it is ok once the water has dried I decided to replace the rug with a larger one and Jak took immediate possession. 'This is mine' he said as he settled in for a snooze.

The new rug is lovely and hides the damage for now. Jak is happy and the roof is COMPLETE! Now I can relax for Christmas.
