Storm coming over!

This was the scene from the back window this afternoon! The woodmen were chopping down the tree in the garden next door but it was the clouds that really made this picture. It was only about 2.30 but it looked like twilight! The rain was very slight snd soon stopped, but, I guess, we were on the edge of what must have been quite a wild sudden storm. The evening was fine enough for us to go carol- singing along the street …. Ending up with mulled wine and mince pies at the big house at the end!! Happy Christmas!!
