Clearing the cobwebs away

I’ve been off sick for a few weeks now and had to go to the surgery to pick up a new sick line and prescription. Left my car at the surgery to go for a walk. Initially just wanted to walk to Addiewelll Bing but I started exploring, walked cross country to the back of Five Sisters, then decided to try to find the old viaduct that I knew was nearby somewhere, before combing back along the banks of the Breich and along some of the Shale Trail. Ended up walking 7km. I really wish I’d explored the area more when my Dad was alive as this is exactly the sort of walk he would have loved (he used to spend loads of time checking out and walking old railway lines, of which part of this walk today was).
