Christmas Dinner

Last night we stayed with our son just outside Chester. It was a lovely evening. We hadn’t seen them or our granddaughters since July. After dropping the kids at school he took us to a little cafe/restaurant for breakfast. It was called The Emporium, and was in a row of shops on an estate. Really nice. Soufflé for breakfast. Very posh. We bought our modest Christmas dinner in one of the shops - a butcher and fishmonger. Then they went shopping in Chester and we drove back for visiting time at Macclesfield hospital. And then later…more house decluttering.
