Bliss in the vines
Parsnip dozed above us as we ( Gran/Mum, John, Chris, Heather and I ) sat in the Autumnal sunshine on the verandah enjoying a Mothers' Day feast prepared by Chris ( John called it a 'porkie', but we South Africans think of it as a 'potjie' ). If you're a blipper, read the poem my daughter wrote me :
Blip Delight
You have your passions
And I have mine
Painting, writing
And blipping is a sign
You spend your whole day
Looking for The One
But is it The One?
Or are there none?
Eager at first
But then frustration strikes
Is it right?
Is it right?
On to the next one
Quick, quick, quick
The sun's going down
Click, click, click
And so the day comes to an end
Computer time now
Is this destiny?
Or will it end in a row?
Questions, cropping
Lightroom, fast!
Time is ticking
Midnight may have passed
Quick, upload
Then it's time to relax
Waiting for viewings, comments
I hope there are stacks
So there it is
And it's a gripper
It's a day in the life
Of a new-found blipper
