Hill road looking churned up

A road with a view although when driving along you need to keep a wary eye on the surface to avoid potholes, all the more so since the ‘weather conditions’ last week.

A good day spent doing jobs that had to be done, some out and about. The sun was shining although the temperature must be dropping this afternoon, it’s cool.

Extra shows guaves, a recent purchase from Spain that was held up by all issues going on around us, they arrived safely although two weeks later than expected. John had only just sent an email to Crowd Farming to check they had sent out a box when it turned up. He immediately sent another to say all was well, too late, another box was on the way, although yet to arrive…….
We have decided they taste best poached in a syrup with star anise, a cinnamon stick and a split vanilla pod.
