Boulogne

In the distance of this shot is Boulogne. Lorna Lloyd writes about the damage to the town on December 5th 1940 in her Diary of the war (previously blipped in full in the LornaL journal, and now available as a podcast series). The audio version of this can be found in Episode 7 of the podcast series.

It is thanks to Nettenet that we are able to tick Boulogne off our list of locations to post in our album of blipper-sourced places mentioned by Lorna in her war diary. Thank you Nettenet!

We also realise that it is going to be difficult to source shots of some of the locations listed. We will therefore also be happy to receive photographs from blippers to represent these 'tricky' places (see for example our blip of 4th December). Thank you!
