Had a lovely lunch with Mum - just Heinz tomato soup and some ham sandwiches. Was really chuffed to realise she put Marmite in the sandwiches.

No wine, though, as the Tunnel Police were pulling random cars as they went through the barriers. Think they wanted a word with me, but I pretended not to notice. There was no massive chase down the slipway, so they clearly had others to collar.

Then went to Lidl to buy me a stupidly big piece of sirloin.
