Unexpected visit

Not quite the day any of us expected. With Owen coughing and his temperature spiking, we decided that Louisa would stay with him this morning and take him to the doctor, then I'd finish early to look after him this afternoon. 
Unfortunately, the GP suggested a trip to the children's assessment unit to get him checked. Even though I left straight away, by the time I'd dropped Aaron off and got to the hospital, we were pretty much just waiting for a final checkup before discharge.
