Oh, no it’s not!

We very nearly didn’t make it! We were supposed to leave at 9am to get to Aberdeen for brunch with the family. I went out with Aonghus at 7.30 with my studs on my boots and even then I was slipping quite a bit. I took one look at our hill and wondered how on earth I was going to get out! Our street never gets gritted so we gave up do it ourself but even the bud route hasn’t been done.

So, Dale and I went out armed with a couple of tubs. It took us almost an hour to get enough salt on the tyre tracks. It’s a short hill but fairly steep with a turn at the bottom. We left at 10.20 and managed to catch a quick bite before the panto!

It was a long day but good to catch up with everyone!
