Paphiopedilum maudiae
A busy day starting with some adjustments to the studio doors which had swollen with the recent damp weather. Then my usual afternoon and early evening with Kanyl. Then after that packing for our trip to Edinburgh for Christmas.
So this shot is a combination of an emergency blip and a record shot for my own purposes. As I have said in a previous post this is the first time I have managed to get Paphiopedilum to flower. Back on the 24th November, I blipped it when it was just emerging. Now it is 18 cm (7") and starting to show the patterning of the flower. Original blip here. Flower as it was when I bought it here.
