In A Big Country

Ok, well, Fife ken? After work it was a dash through to Dunfermline to see Big Country with N & H. I liked them a lot in the 1980s but have only listened to their music a few times in the last 30 years. Stuart Adamson has been gone for just over 31, eeek, years, and there are 2 of the original left. One of them, Bruce Watson, was in the support act The Delinx when I went to see The Skids at the Kinema Ballroom in 1979, eeek! He then joined Stuart to form Big Country in 1981. Bruce's son, Jamie, also now plays in the band. they both also currently play in The Skids. The bassist in The Skids, is the bassist Big Country. OMG, this is like an episode of Soap, that TV series from the late 1970s, in fact Bruce and his son had a cameo in the last episode, wait I've taken it too far haven't I, but all the rest is true!
