Birthday Boy

A lovely day, the first time since 2019 that Angie's family has had a nearly full get together since 2019. Held in an isolated country "pub" part of a farm estate-like complex. It's mainly a restaurant with a beer garden, but it's also has a butcher attached to the restaurant (you walk through it if you go from the restaurant to the toilets) & has a theatre. North of Munich, towards Ingolstadt, in the Hop growing country called Holledau, the largest hop growing area in the world.

Arrived just after lunch to start with coffee & cakes (most families brought one with them), then on to beers before the late afternoon main meal from the shortened beer garden selection.
