This & That

Blossom

An early Blip from me today.

Woke up this morning full of energy. Think a good nights sleep helped. Left my tip of a house to go to Tesco knowing that I had a job & a half to face upon my return.

On the way to the supermarket I passed by a tower block that's been a staple backdrop to Grange Hill & Eastenders for decades. Kitted with the Canon I shot plenty but my 'nifty fifty' doesn't really do the skyscraper the justice it deserves. Will go back another day & see what I can capture with a winder angle lens. I also toyed with the idea of photographing the back of Albert Square as the Elstree set can be clearly seen as you pass by one of the streets in Borehamwood. Another time perhaps.

Having finished by shopping I arrived home to blue skies & sunshine so decided to dump my shopping & venture over to the Church next door with the Canon. I hoped that when I returned the elves would have unpacked my bags & tidied up ~ no such luck I'm afraid!

The grounds of the church were very peaceful so I sat for a while contemplating the list of things I needed to do today. Upon my return home I got busy with my list & am pleased to say managed to get all but the ironing done. That can wait till later!

Anyway, today's Blip is of the blossom I photographed in the grounds of the Church. It's the first time I've photographed this beautiful flower & I'm rather pleased with the results. I had a few shots to chose from, even one of Bluebells which I'll post on Instagram later, but favoured this one.
