Long legs

We got a break in the snow today, but not from the bitterly cold temperatures. 
Sunny,?Yes. 
Warm?, no way.
Getting around by car is a bit on the sketchy side as you never know when you're going to hit a patch of ice. (Well, the guys with cars in the ditch didn't know they were going to hit ice.)
But, now that I'm done until after New Years, a really couldn't give a rats arse as I don't plan on going anywhere.
The forecasters gave us our Xmas present today. After our one day of sunshine, we can expect another storm to come through tonight dumping 15-20cm more of the white sh1te.
But then after that, the temp will climb, the rain will pour for days and days, and we can all go back to complaining about the weather.
Oh, we actually made our own carrot cake today, not bad, not brilliant. We need to find abother recipe.
