happy memorial day

i've been getting rather antsy lately, and i realized today that it had been a hot minute since i'd been west of glendale ... so i went for a drive today through malibu and topanga canyon.

pickup truck + trisha yearwood + sunshine = best memorial day ever.

being in topanga canyon was interesting because i just re-watched helter skelter yesterday, and spahn ranch, where the manson family lived when the committed the tate-labianca murders, was not far from there. creepy!
