Train journey South. The trains were absolutely packed but we did manage to get to our reserved seats. I do love taking the high speed trains. You only notice the speed by looking at the display. The display also comes with a dynamic map which is fabulous. We had a brief stop in Nürnberg and arrived at my parents on time. It's been a very long time, the summer before the pandemic, since I have been in South Germany. It was a nice surprise to see our older son before he had to start his night shift.
