The Big One....

... Richard....60 today

For those that have followed my journal for the last few months will know that this is more than just a birthday, it's a very special day for Richard and all his family.

Two months ago we never thought we would see this day, and in the weeks that followed, never even thought he would be home for his big birthday.

The big party had to be cancelled, invites put away - instead having a private family low key event at home - the big celebration has been deferred until he is a lot better (and able to enjoy a few glasses of wine).

I am so very thankful to all you blippers who have been so supportive over the last few months. Your messages (and emails) have been so so kind.

Here is to Richard on his 60th birthday and for many more to come.
