Friendly neighbourhood triffid

I was going back through old blips the other day and saw that I blipped about this plant’s first flower back in January 2013. At that point, it was five years old, or thereabouts.

A decade later, and it’s too big to sit on my desk in work. It now sits in the corner of the bathroom and is tall enough to reach my waist. Now and again, when the mood takes it, it’ll put out another flower or two. I congratulate it as much now as I did the first time :)
