Mouth of a Tulip

I had never noticed before but the inside of a Tulip is just as beautiful as the outside. It is almost like it it trying to entice or lure something inside.

I love the dark brown base and the brightly coloured stamen alongside the vibrant yellow and red filtering through from the outside.

I must start to obsserve things more closely in future. I never thought I would be interested in close up photography but it just goes to show how wrong you can be.
