Junk banjo.

Homework project this weekend was to make an instrument out of rubbish. So, having dismissed the (very) lane and obvious 'shaker' option, and ably assisted by O, we set about making a banjo.

What you see here is the result. It has 3 strings and can play different notes. The sound box is made from an old white spirit container meaning that the banjo comes with a warning not to sniff it too hard (we don't want to revive the psychedelic 6os just yet). We made a set of bongos as well.
