Prue’s birthday picnic

Our picnic boxes were supplied by the lodge but given that Prue turned 93 today it wasn’t a great idea to be lounging around on picnic blankets. Instead, we elected to eat at a table that was positively laden with a large variety of goodies in little boxes.

Prue had a lovely surprise with the arrival of her granddaughter Jocelyn, who announced her engagement as she and her fiancé wished Prue happy Birthday.

This little praying mantis appeared on Prue’s serviette as if it was wishing Prue happy birthday too.

It’s been a lovely relaxing day.
