Flower Friday...Christmas cactus

The one and only bud on my Christmas cactus, now fully open in all its glory. Just hope there are a few more next year...thanks Bikerbear:)
Really horrible weather today, wet and cold, and despite checking my bus app, over an hour waiting for a bus to Bfriend !! I  nearly went home, but it was the Christmas party which I had been looking forward to. Quite a restrained afternoon as a few members were missing....won a box of Viennese biscuits in the raffle.. lucky me again.
Extra is a photo of Ben with his Vietnamese family, celebrating his third birthday today, and I have the most wonderful video too....Traditionally, people actually become one year older at Tet, New Year's Day.
