Silent Opponent

Indoor cats have specific enemies or opponents. Vacuum cleaner is a noisy one, but the morning paper is silent. It distracts servants from their proper role. While I was out of the kitchen, Aapo settled down on the paper. Had to feed him there. Newsreading didn't disturb his breakfast.
