Thank you for your concern over yesterday’s events on the railway. That failure at the end of the service led to a very long day. You may be pleased to learn that todays service finished bang on time at 5.30pm.
There were some irate passengers but also some very positive feedback about how staff responded to the situation explaining what was happening, giving out hot and cold drinks and food and refunding the fares.
Today was much gentler at the Christmas party for residents and relatives at Doreen’s care home which was where todays blip was taken. There was a singer , singing those old famous songs from way back when alongside Christmas classics.
After lunch we went into town for a walk and to pick up the last few items. All set now for Mr Christmas to weave his magic.
Landon, in California, had his first Christmas yesterday as he’s spending the big day and his second Christmas with his mum. We saw lots of videos of him opening presents. Madison, on the other hand, was oblivious to all the fuss although she made a very profound gesture by sticking her tongue out.
