Over the Bridge

Popped into a supermarket today and it was totally different.  If anything, it was quieter than normal.  Loads of room in the car park, and no sign of panic buying or people buying stuff they don't need just because the shops are closed for one day. 

But the main difference for me is that there is absolutely no sign of a brussell sprout anywhere.  Just before I left I was going to go for a meal with our quiz team to the pub that hosts the quiz.  But their dishes all had Sprouts and the Veggie option came with 'Sprout Pesto'.  Enough to give me nightmares.  I'd like to think that here there isn't actually a sprout on the Island (although I know there will be).
