A walk by the river

I drove part-way to Kingston this morning and then walked along the river to the town. It was very grey and just beforehand there had been torrential rain. However, I was treated to the sight of a Kingfisher sat, as bold as brass, in a little inlet. Surprisingly, I had time to Blip him before he flew away. Not a great shot, but you can see how visible he was.
I bought a few presents and on my way back to the river, passed through the square where this structure - see extra - was on top of a food stand!
