Blonde...

....and very curly.  This is a photo from last weekend.  We went to NYC on short notice when we received a phone call from number 3 son.  They were scheduled to go to Florida for a wedding and the girls were supposed to go stay with their other grandmother, who lives just outside New York City.  Their other grandmother came down with Covid so we drove to the rescue.  We had a wonderful time and so did the parents.  

We have learned that grandchildren are much more fun when the parents aren't around.  

She is nearly 21 months old, and practicing to be a 2.  One of her new phrases is "don't wanna."  Otherwise she eats anything she is given, and goes to bed with absolutely no fuss.  She just lays down, puts her thumb in her mouth, closes her eyes and goes to sleep and doesn't wake until morning.
