Friday night football at the Falkirk Stadium and a bit of a roller-coaster ride for the fans in the stands. Early Falkirk pressure paid off with a goal after 20 minutes then defensive lapses found the Bairns, playing tonight in an all-red kit, 1-2 down to the visitors before a goal just before half-time brought the teams level. Somehow Falkirk found it within them to score three goals in the second half to run out unlikely, but deserved, 5-2 winners.

Well, it wasn't boring! The gifts of five goals and three points were much appreciated. We'll draw a blank over the two goals that the Bairns gifted to Queen of the South.
