Hatchling

The warmer weather is bringing out a new generation of Monarchs.  Lovely to see, but not quite what I wanted to get.

Over the past days, South Australia has been blessed with swarms of dragon flies.  Indeed just a couple of days ago, there were a dozen or more all zooming around my back yard.

So, once the sun was out this morning, I thought I'd see what I could get in the way of a couple of zoomies.

Nothing.  Nada.  Not a single dragonfly to be seen.

So that's why you've got a Monarch, in all his glory.
