Well - that was a busy morning! Our last Foodbank before Christmas and we thought as we were soo busy on Tuesday it may have been a little quieter today but we were wrong. Gave out our last Christmas hampers today - although quite a few of our regular clients were trying to claim a second one saying they weren’t given one last week.  It’s a good job we have a reliable computer system. In the last fortnight we have given away literally thousand of pounds worth of food and Christmas goodies.
Quick trip down to our warehouse to take the remaining bits and lots of empty containers back, followed by a trip to the tip with a car full of cardboard - it mounts up so quickly!
We had a short walk along the seafront to try to untangle our brains a little before a trip to Tescos. We very rarely visit supermarkets now, because since covid we have all of our groceries delivered so I was a bit like a rabbit caught in the headlights in the shop. But we got what we needed and it really wasn’t too busy thankfully.
Now to chill - almost.
